About Pip

Filmmaker Pip Gilmour started Pip Gilmour Productions in 2004.

I’m a storyteller and as such, I’ve had the good fortune to meet, interview and film people and places all over the world. On some productions, I direct and produce a team of four and on others, it’s a team of 40 or more. Whether my company has been hired or if I’m individually hired, I can direct and/or produce for you.

Working with a wide range of clients, including National Geographic, BBC, AMC, Hulu, Smithsonian Channel, PBS, Discovery, US Army, Conservation International, and many more has given me the confidence to work in various genres and formats including documentaries, narratives, national commercials, and promotionals.

Recently, my company produced 2^nd Unit material for AMC’s new series, La Fortuna premiering 2021 starring Stanley Tucci. I directed publicity material for Hulu’s new series, Dopesick starring Michael Keaton & Peter Sarsguaard; I directed interviews for a landmark six-part documentary about 9/11 for National Geographic premiering 2021; and last year, I co-created, produced, and directed six comedy spots for Camping World for spring 2021 release.
